Choice of dyeing
Aluminum is a pretty, decorative and environmentally friendly – but after anodising aluminum is neutral and colourless.
At HAI Horsens the aluminum product can be dyed after anodising. Choice of dye and lustre depends on where the product is going to be used. This is why we distinguish between outdoor and indoor dyes.

The dyeing process
The dyeing is done by an electrolyte immersion process where dye or metallic salts are embedded in the surface for the aluminum product obtains optimal light and colour stability as well as corrosion-constancy.
Today anodised aluminum is used more and more frequently for architectural purposes.
Buildings are constructed of aluminum which is perfect for this purpose. For instance, the buildings’ facades are made from nature anodised and dyed aluminum, as the aluminum is light, requires minimal maintaining and look good in most environments.
In recent years aluminum has become a very often used material in our everyday lives. Both indoor architecture and for more decorative purposes.
The colours go through constant quality control, which ensures a constant colour and a high quality. Though, we must point out that colour differences may occur depending on type of item (cast materials, sheets or sections)
